Welcome. Thanks for coming by. I want to start a new technology program where every student would use an iPod in school. However, I'm not sure what impacts this would have on the students and teachers, nor if they will provide any educational value.

Your job is to talk to the following people to find out what their experiences with iPods have been. At the end of this assignment, I’d like you to provide me with a summary analysis of what you find.

These people have either used or been exposed to iPods in this school and will provide valuable information:

• Mr. Smith – Computer Teacher
  Mr. Smith can get you up to speed on the basics of what an iPod is. He has a demonstration unit, as well as pricing information. He is a good place to start.
  
  
• Mr. Anderson – English Teacher
  Mr. Anderson has used iPods to allow students to listen to audio books and poetry. He has had mixed results from this experience.

• Mrs. Jones – Foreign Language Teacher
  Mrs. Jones has been using iPods to allow her students to listen to pronunciation lessons.
  
  
• Mr. Brown – Art Teacher
  Mr. Brown has been talking with colleagues about using iPods as virtual tour guides in art museums.
  
  
• Ms. Jackson – Music Teacher
  Ms. Jackson has been using iPods to allow students to study music.
  
  
• Mrs. Kim – Cafeteria Worker
  Mrs. Kim has seen students get into fights over iPods. She can provide some insight into the cultural impacts of the iPod.
  
  
• Mr. Zerwick – Guidance Counselor
  Mr. Zerwick has been in contact with higher-education schools. He can tell you about different programs some Universities have.
