Hi
there! Thanks for stopping in. Mr. Macintosh tells me that you might
be interested in learning about the iPod. I've got a lot of information
here for you, as well as a demonstration.
To start
with, an iPod is a portable, digital
audio player. This means that it is a device that plays back
digital music files (such as MP3).
Although there are other portable audio players available, the iPod
has become the dominant player in the MP3 player market with approximately
87% of the market
share.
iPods
can work on both Mac and Windows PC platforms. They have approximately
a 12 hour battery and capacities ranging from 512MB (120 songs)
- 60GB (15,000 songs).
iPods
can also be used to play back almost any type of audio file, including
audiobooks, recorded poetry, etc.
